1999
While sitting at a television set watching an award ceremony, The Lord spoke to the heart of J Michael Thompson and said, "Look at this they're honoring people with Oscars, Emmy's and Grammy's, but What about me? - What about mine?" Mr. Thompson responded to the Lord by saying, "God we can't give you an award". The Lord replied, "No you can't, but what you can do is honor me by honoring my shepherds who are feeding my flock." Thus Rohi Ministry was born.

Rohi Ministry received acknowledgements from President George W. Bush for our efforts in honoring God's faithful,
Faith plays an important role in our Nation, and American pastors are sources of strength and guidance to millions across our country. By sharing the message of God's steadfast love and infinite mercy. I appreciate America's pastors and all who preach about the blessing of faith, hope and love. Your efforts help renew the spirit, comfort those in anguish, and change lives, one heart and soul at a time. May God bless you".

Rohi moved from the month of October to the month of February, due to a Presidential Proclamation, and instead of honoring five in one night. We now honor one. In Celebrating 10 years of ministry, we honored Minister Of Music Daryl J. Walker of Shorter Community A.M.E. Church in Denver Colorado.
