Dear Minister J Michael Thompson and the Rohi staff,
Thank you so much for ministering to those of us who minister to others. The honor you bestowed upon me will go a long way in making me a better Pastor. You didn’t know I was going through one of the most difficult periods of my 36 years of ministry.
I have been closely examining the world we live in and the Church’s role in it: and more and more it seemed that the lines between the two are getting blurred. Frankly, I felt powerless as a minister of the gospel to make a difference. I felt that my preaching was not too effective and not warmly received.
While in this state, I sat in the Service Rohi set aside to Honor those who minister. What an uplift I received during that service! The Lord Himself gave gentle and sweet encouragement, reminding me that his word, even through me, has been very effective. I left renewed, revived, and determined to give Him my best.
