Rohi is sad to learn that M&D’s, the first Christian business to house the official Rohi flag, has closed their doors after 34 years of business. Rohi Ministry would like to thank Mr. Mack Shead and the M&D’s staff for their prayers, support and housing of the Rohi flag. We will continue to pray for Mack and his staff and support them in their future endeavors. May God continue to bless you and the staff of M&D’s.

In October 2001 Rohi Ministry presented the annual Rohi Award to Dr. Rick Ferguson of Riverside Baptist Church Denver Colorado, for his diligence in ministry.  Dr. Ferguson was a significant soldier in God's army and the fruits of his labor continue even today. Soon after this recognition, Dr. Ferguson went home to be with the Lord.

Although we had recognized him while he was alive, Rohi Ministry wanted to further show our appreciation by honoring his family with a Rohi Flag. In October 2002 at the historical Aurora Fox Arts center, in Aurora Colorado. Dr. Ferguson widow, Kathy Ferguson, was presented with a special Rohi flag in remembrance of Dr. Fergusons service to the Lord.

From that moment on the flag became an important part of Rohi Ministry and we decided that we would stay committed in "continuing the honor" by presenting a flag to the surviving family member of a deceased Rohi honoree. As well as having a Christian  business house the Rohi flag and lower it to half-mast for a day after the home going services, in honor of God's servants.

Rohi has already placed flags at two Christian businesses. M&D's Cafe , the first to be house the Rohi flag, and  The Word Book StoreBoth businesses are located in Denver Colorado.  Since presenting the Rohi flag to Mrs. Ferguson  in 2002, there have been two other Rohi flag presentations to the next of kin.

The Rohi flag colors are Purple for Royalty of Gods Kingdom, Gold for Brilliance and Splendor and White for Purity and Righteousness. The star field section depicts a Shepherd with his sheep, reference to Psalms 23:1, 6 "The Lord is my Shepherd".
